Winter Lookbook

I’ve been inspired by many fashion blogs lately and have been utterly and totally obsessed with maxi skirts. I don’t own one yet, unbelievable considering I live so close to a goodwill where I may be able to find one easily.

I decided to take what I already had. I layered my summer maxi dresses with either sweaters or shirts and found a quick fix.

Another one of this season’s biggest trend, it’s no secret to most: leopard print. It’s very important to know how to wear it. Overkill with leopard print is tacky, to say the least. Be aware that when wearing it – it inevitably becomes center stage. You do not want to pair it with pieces that compete with that print. Resist the temptation, if you have any what so ever, to wear more than one leopard print piece in one outfit.

Lastly, my last two mash ups were more on the minimalist side. I love pairing dark neutrals with a rich dark hue such of that of those suede over the knee boots. Wearing all black or all boring colors is fine, but when you brighten it up with a pop of color then you take your outfit to the next level.
