I am a shoe fiend, in case you couldn’t tell, and I happen to have an unquenchable thirst for Spring/Summer footwear. I’ve decided to share with you a few shoes that I think would be awesome for the warmer months. I choose to show you guys a few wedges, a pair of flats and a timeless classic.
These colour block wedges are great for amping up neutral outfits or taking a colourful look to the next level. I love that these have 2 colours from the same colour family, they definitely demand a double look. Though the two colours don’t fade into one another, the two tones kind of remind me of the huge ombré trend that is continuing from last summer.
It’s rare to go wrong with a standard black wedge. What attracts me most to these is that they have a peep toe so that you can show off your bright pedicure! Additionally, the ankle strap draws attention by exposing a strip of skin. This wedge is both discreet and sexy at once.
Day flats are an essential to every woman’s wardrobe, especially when you shop a lot. Let’s face it, everyone needs to be comfortable during long shopping sprees. These colour blocked duo ankle strapped sandals come in a variety of colours and add just a bit of height with a subtle wedge. I love the texture of the mint ankle straps for summer.
I have raved about the grettta in black before, but here they are in bright pink. A solid bright pink can help add a touch of femininity to an otherwise androgynous or edgy outfit. I often find that pale pinks are unflattering on me. If you have the same issue as I, then hot pink can be a great option for you.
Different various of ankle strapped stiletto sandals dominated spring runways. I remember my mom owning heels like these in the 90’s and these will always be a wardrobe staple because they are so classic. I prefer these in either beige or black simply because they will always be timeless and match with almost every outfit.
I hope you’ve enjoyed the picks I shared above, which are all from Steve Madden. Which one was your favourite?
