Dot & Lil products are handmade in a Montreal studio. The line includes handmade skincare and personal care products. Anne prides herself in making products without preservatives, shopping locally for ingredients and using recycled and biodegradable packaging.
Dot & Lil Spring Collection Preview 2013
Dot & Lil announced their new line of liquid soaps called Hand + Body Soaps, which come in Grapefruit, Bergamot, Corriander & Lemongrass and Rosemary & Lavender (unfortunately, those are not pictured below).
The Dot & Lil Spring Collection featured more than just new products and returning seasonal favorites, but as well as the new company logo and changed packaging.
I’m in love with the beautiful vintage feel of Dot & Lil’s packaging. However, what really caught my attention were the invigorating scents of the soaps! I loath over powering and ultra fake smelling scents commonly found today. Dot & Lil products have a true-to-life fragrance, that’s especially the case with their lilac soaps!

Tea Cup Candles
These candles were unofficially launched during the holiday season, but have now become a part of the permanent collection. They are made with beeswax, olive oil and have a cotton wick. They are unscented candles poured in vintage china tea cups.
Unscented / Mint Shaving Soap
Repair + Calm Shave Serum – find here as of February 27th
This shaving liquid can be used before shaving and after to soothe, calm and prevent irritation of the skin. The formula is made with “soothing calendula and moisturizing rice bran and avocado oils, and scented with a subtle touch of cedarwood and tea tree essential oils.“

Behind the scenes at the studio
Carefully placed and labelled jars, tins and containers were used to display an array of ingredients that are used to make Dot & Lil’s colorful and fragrant products. I felt that this truly exemplified the notion of the brand; creating products that are simple, effective and uncomplicated.
