Who says you can’t wear pastel for Christmas? I found an unusual, but lovely match when I paired Revlon Graffiti 678 with Avon Gel Finish Lavender Sky.
I’m all over this Graffiti top coat, but speaking of glitter, wearing glitter polishes on accent nails is a great way to avoid spending ages with acetone. We all know how difficult it is to remove glitter top coats!
Holiday Manicure with Revlon Graffiti 678
As a base for this Holiday manicure, I’m wearing the CND stickey base coat. One of my favourite bloggers, Gh0stparties, said she found this base coat to be better than OPI Nail Envy. Since then, I’ve been on the hunt! I looked for it at trade secrets and salons with nail supplies, but never succeed. It is difficult to find offline in Canada, but I finally found it earlier this month at Winners for $6.99 CND. I can’t wait to report back about the results!
Back on track, I’m wearing Avon Gel Finish in Lavender Sky as a base color. The name fits the polish perfectly; it’s a pastel purple with a cream finish.
The Gel Finish range promise : shine, gel-like finish, vivid color, base coat, topcoat, protection and straightening qualities. The formula does not contain formaldehyde, toluene or DBP. For its price, the Avon Gel Finish line preforms well. They have a great applicator brush and require 2 coats for optimal opacity.
Revlon Graffiti top coat 678 screams Christmas. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more suited polish, to be honest. It has varying sizes and shapes of glitter; hexagonal, circle and long thin rectangular confetti particles in red and white. I’m wearing 2 generous coats of this top coat on my middle and ring fingers.
On a final note, I wish you all lovely holidays and Merry Christmas (if applicable to you, if not, thanks for reading any way).
