Whether you’re single or taken, it’s nice to go against the grain and opt for an offbeat look during any holiday occasion.
Today, I will be showing you 5 Revlon picks for Valentine’s day that are out of the usual.
Valentine’s day typically calls for nude, bright or deep pinks and often the color of love: red. Instead, try out orange! It’s a trending color in the warmer months and as February comes and goes, you will be set for the next season.
5 Revlon Picks for Valentine’s Day
Cream Blush Coral Reef
Don’t let this color scare you in the pan, its a lightweight, creamy blush that provides a flush of color to the cheeks. It can be worn sheerly or built up to a more dramatic hue and it has a soft satin finish.
For a more intense look, you can layer a powder blush over top. If you are not a fan of cream blushes, consider powder blush in Melon-Drama or Classy Coral.
Highlighting Palette Bronze Glow
The Revlon Highlighting Palette comes in three shades, but today we are looking at 030 Bronze Glow. The lightest strips can be used to illuminate the tops of cheek bones and the bottom shades can be used as blush or bronzer. The shades can also double up as eye shadows when used individually.
Lacquer Balm or Matte Balm
Tease has a glossy finish and wears more sheer and muted on the lips, whereas Audacious is an opaque matte in a vibrant orange.
If you prefer a lipstick over the balms, then there is Revlon Super Lustrous Creme Siren 677 and my personal favourite, Demure 683.
Nail Enamel Siren 440
Single or not, what are your plans for Valentine’s Day this year?
I’m celebrating after the fact because I have school and work all day, including mid-terms (sucks to be me).
