Revlon has upped the nail game, unveiling the newest innovation in ColorStay Gel Envy™ Longwear Nail Enamel. This pioneering nail collection offers brilliant colour, gel-shine and long lasting wear in an easy at-home 2-step system.
Skip the base coat! Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy Longwear Nail Enamel combines base coat and colour in one convenient formula for time-saving application.
Colour commitment issues? The Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy comes in 30 easy-to-remove shades that have a gel like appearance.
The final step in this two-step system is the Gel Envy Diamond Top Coat, which provides a protective coating for long lasting strength, shine, and resistance.
ColorStay Gel Envy™ Longwear Nail Enamel in Dealer’s Choice 240
Dealer’s Choice 240 is a gorgeous teal; it’s somewhere between green and blue depending on the lighting. It has silver toned shimmer, but at first glance it looks more like a standard cream finish.
I also have the shades Casino Nights 210 (a bight yellow) and Up The Ante 410 (a radiant orchid purple). I can’t wait to try them!
The brush applicator offers easy and fast application – I like!
ColorStay Gel Envy Diamond Top Coat™
Gel Envy is somewhere between a gel manicure and a regular at home manicure. With the right application technique, this lacquer lasts longer than your regular nail enamel.
It does have a gel like finish without compromising the health of the nails or the flexibility for anyone with color commitment issues (gel manicures are hell to get off!).
Overall, I’m very impressed! I haven’t chipped in 4 days, so far.
Price and availability: May 2014 at drug and mass retailers nationwide at $7.99, but I’ve already spotted them in drugstores across Montreal. For more information, visit: revlon.ca
