Today, I’ll be showing you four shades from the GOSH Velvet Touch lipstick collection for Spring Summer 2014. The shades I received are relatively nude, except for Romance, which is a very light pink shade.
All four shades are cream finishes with no glitter running through them. They are extremely smooth, so much so that they feel like they melt on the lips when you apply them.

Here are the four lipsticks:
- 155 Innocence – baby pink
- 156 Romance – pastel pink (lighter than Innocence)
- 161 Sweetheart – mid-brown nude
- 162 Nude – peachy nude

155 Innocence is a flattering baby pink. I say flattering because it is rare for me to find a baby pink that isn’t too cool toned, which doesn’t wear nicely on my skin tone. This is definitely a pink that will work for various light to mid, cool and warm skin tones.
162 Nude is my new favourite, it’s my current my lips-but-better lipstick. It’s smooth, creamy and absolutely perfect. It has a touch of peach to it that suits olive skin tones beautifully.
161 Sweetheart will work as a nude for mid to dark skin tones. It’s a natural looking brown that is a bit sheer. I gave this shade to my mother after swatching it because her skin is more tanned than mine and it looks stunning on her.
156 Romance is a color I could never pull off, not unless I mix it with another lip product. It’s a very pale and cool toned pink. It has somewhat of a sheer cream finish, which is buildable. I think anyone with very light skin with pink undertones could pull this off better than I.
What do you think of the GOSH Velvet Touch Lipsticks, will you pick one up before summer is up?
