Boutique 1861 has launched its very own bridal boutique called Boudoir 1861, one level above the above the hustle and bustle, located at 3668 Boul. St. Laurent.
The new locale boasts an intimate and vintage inspired atmosphere, inspired by all things girly. There’s soft romantic lighting, welcoming fashion stylists and vintage decor and furniture that have been hand-picked from all over Quebec.
The collection features dresses by Canadian, as well as local Montreal designers (such as Arti Gogna and Jordan de Ruiter). There is a wide variety of styles and prices in dresses and accessories. Think tulle, silk, lace, and crystals – you name it! Whether it be modern-chic or old-age romantic, there will be something for every bride and a few things for the bridemaids, too.
When I attended the exclusive media launch on February 3rd, I had a little too much fun trying on some of the dresses. The event was complete with a makeup and hair touch-up station, bubbly, hors d’oeuvres, cupcakes and candy. In other words, it was paradise.

So, what are you waiting for? You know you want to try on a white dress!
