Bliss Multi-Face-Eted Clay Mask Review

A long while back, I attended an event for various product launches at the Crystal Hotel in Montreal. One of the product sampls I was sent home with was the Bliss Multi-‘Face’-Eted All-In-One Anti-Aging Clay Mask. I only ever got around to dabbling with it now.

The Clay Mask is formulated with a blend of professional spa-level 10% glycolic acid, quartz, nourishing jojoba oil, and detoxifying carbon, this spa-powered mask corrects six of the most common aging skin concerns: fine lines, uneven tone, dullness, rough texture, enlarged pores and dryness.

Clay masks have always intrigued me. They usually make your face feel rigid when they dry and it’s suggested not to make too many facial expressions while their on because that can irritate the skin. The Multi-‘Face’-Eted mask is different because it is flexible. But there is one set back.

This mask was not easy to wash off. I’ve seen a lot of reviews sprinkled reviews here are there about how the mask is difficult to wash off and that in itself irritates the skin. However, I did not experience any irritation because I used a silicone cleansing pad, lot’s of water and plenty of patience.

In short, if you are gentle and thorough, you should not have any problems removing the mask or experiences any bit of irritation (unless you are allergic to something in the product’s ingredients).

My skin felt great after the mask, less dull and more evenly textured and coloured. Apart from that, I cannot attest for the fine-lines claim.

This mask is available at various retailers such as The Bay, Bliss and Sephora for approximately $64 CND for 65 g.

Have you tried the Bliss Multi-Face-Eted Clay Mask? What other clay masks would you recommend?
