Thanks to winter, my hair has undergone dehydration, it’s more dry and brittle than ever. To quench its thirst, I’ve embarked on a beauty challenge testing out the Pantene Expert Intense Hydration line.
It also helps that Selena Gomez is one of Pantene’s newest ambassadors and now the face of the Intense Hydration collection too. Let’s face it, who wouldn’t want hair like hers?
This opportunity was brought to me through the Beauty United program. Beauty bloggers were asked to pick from Pantene Expert collections to tackle their hair concerns: Dry Defy, Fade Defy, Intense Color Care, Intense Hydration, Intense Repair, Intense Smooth, Advanced Keratin Repair and Age Defy. Considering my hair concerns include dryness and frizz, I settled on the Intense Hydration line.
Pantene Expert Intense Hydration Review
I have used the Pantene Intense Hydration shampoo and conditioner for over a month and can elaborate on the experience. The shampoo lathers up and gives the scalp and hair a clean wash, specifically because it contains Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. I only wash my hair every 2-3 days, unless I switch it up with a shampoo which doesn’t contain SLS. If your scalp is on the sensitive side, consider alternating shampoos with a SLS free shampoo.
On the other hand, the Pantene Intense Hydration conditioner boast a very rich and hydrating formula to compensate for the lathering shampoo. The end result after using both products is clean and soft to the touch hair.
Perhaps soft and hydrated hair are the source of inspiration to the track Can’t Keep My Hands to Myself? Who knows!!
