MAKE UP FOR EVER Water Blend Foundation R330 & R370 Demo & Review

The MAKE UP FOR EVER Water Blend Foundation is a lightweight, water-gel, face and body foundation that provides sheer to buildable coverage with a natural-looking, dewy glow and flawless finish.

MAKE UP FOR EVER Water Blend Foundation R330 & R370

Reformulated from the Face & Body foundation, it has 80% water and enriched with pro-vitamin B5 and hydrates and improves your skin’s elasticity. The super lightweight formula allows you to customize your foundation result from sheer to buildable, providing your desired coverage level with a fresh, dewy glow.

The long lasting, unique water-gel texture applies quickly and easily then sets to ensure that it will not transfer throughout the day. Ideal for all skin types, this foundation is available in an array of 20 shades to match all skintones.

I’m currently using a mix of shades R330 & R370. For reference sake, here are my shades in other foundations by MAKE UP FOR EVER:

MUFE HD Foundation shade (discontinued): 118 or 127
MUFE Ultra HD Foundation (reformulated) Y335 or Y345, find here
MUFE Ultra HD Foundation Stick: 127 = Y335, find here

The “R” shades are for red/pink undertones and the “Y” shades are for those yellow undertones. I normally where yellow undertones, but this formulation is sheer enough that it worked on my skintone.

I have oil combination and acne prone skin. The Water Blend foundation works well for me because I no long have severe breakouts. I do, however, need to conceal the under eye area with a lighter concealer and conceal blemish spots (when necessary) with another product.

It might seem counter-intuitive, but I find that hydrating formulas generally work better for my oily skin. My skin’s oil production seems to go in over drive when I use matte foundations as if it were trying to over-compensate the dry-ness.
