We’re knees deep in summer and with the season in full swing, here’s a post about a few must-haves you got to get your hands on.
Head and Shoulders Smooth & Silky Shampoo and Conditioner take care of the scalp. I look for clarifying and cleansing shampoos in the summer to wash out the product I use to style and to keep my scalp clear of flaking.
Tossled waves that mirror the ocean, girl. Skip the heat styling, give your hair a break and scrunch in some mousse. I’ve got thick, wavy hair already and the warm humid weather makes heat styling feel like a torture regime so I reach for Herbal Essence Bio:renew Curl Defining Mousse and shift my focus to makeup and body care (i.e. shaving and bronzing).
And what happens when you don’t have time to wash your hair again? No problem, dry shampoo. Only this time, instead of something that smells sweet, reach for Herbal Essence Revitalize Dry Shampoo with cucumber and green tea scent. It instantly adds a refreshing scent to the roots of my hair and not too much volume.
Summer Savvy P&G Beauty Must-Haves
The sun and the amount of shaving, epilating and waxing that goes down in the summer can do a number to the skin. I find that even after moisturizing, having bare legs all the time makes my legs feel drier than when I wear pants. Does that even make sense? Olay Fresh Outlast Purify Birchwater is formulated to work with your skin’s natural pH. It’s helpful.
I’m thinking of posting a video about my hair removal process because it’s tideous, but it’s worth a mention. I like to sport bare legs as much as possible in the summer. Let me know what you think.
Last, but not least, how can we forget sunscreen? Olay Luminous Brightening & Protecting Lotion with SPF 30 has me covered, literally. It’s fast-absorbing, which is the top quality I look for in a sunscreen after the sun protection factor. Get #ageless, because sunscreen is one of the top methods to prevent early wrinkles.
